As a Business Development Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions, you will be primarily based in Cleveland, OH or Akron, OH.
PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees.
- Acquire new clients across financial wellness solutions, focusing on growing sales, revenue, and market share.
- Work with clients of basic to moderate risk and complexity, under the guidance of senior leadership.
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
- Originate and perform financial analysis, negotiate, and document non‑credit products and services.
- Manage risk/return, mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
- Provide client insights and solutions based on understanding of their financial well‑being.
- Increase client engagement and loyalty.
- Build internal and external relationships (community and industry) to acquire and expand clients.
- Present the full range of PNC products and services to clients.
- Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial wellness solutions product positioning, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning.
- Use a consultative sales approach to acquire new business relationships.
- Collaborate with client services teams and partners to support growth of a book of business.
- Preferred experience selling to professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services.
- University/college degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience (including military service).
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience in financial services or related sales roles.

Book of Business, Client Relationship Building, Credit Processes, Credit Products, Customer Engagement, Decision Making, Financial Analysis, Identifying Sales Opportunities. - Competencies:
Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, Customer Experience Management, Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Prospecting, Sales Negotiating, Selling, Tech Savvy. - Preferred experience selling to professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services.
- Certifications not required.
Base Salary: $63,750.00 – $ (may vary based on geographic location, market data, skills, experience, and education). Incentive eligible based on individual and business performance.
