The Inside Sales Representative is focused on driving new business within the print and packaging space. The position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing new customer relationships through primarily virtual sales activities. This is a hunter-oriented role with a strong emphasis on pipeline development and new account acquisition, while also supporting broader sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach and networking
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across target industries and regions
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and position solutions
  • Deliver virtual presentations and product demonstrations
  • Partner with outside sales, marketing, and technical teams to advance and close opportunities
  • Support occasional customer visits, trade shows, and industry events (10-20% travel)
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and ensure timely follow-up
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and report on pipeline activity, trends, and competitive insights
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of inside sales or business development experience, with a focus on outbound prospecting and new business
  • Proven ability to build pipeline and close new accounts
Core Skills
  • Strong hunter mentality; self-motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, virtual)
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or specialty products markets is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
