The Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH. This position involves meeting with homeowners, assessing their exterior home improvement needs, and presenting tailored solutions for roofing, siding, and related services. The Sales Representative will conduct product demonstrations, prepare estimates, and explain financing options in a clear and ethical manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, managing a sales pipeline, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or related systems.
The role also requires collaborating with installation and customer service teams to ensure a smooth project experience and high customer satisfaction.
- Sales and customer service skills, including consultative selling, relationship building, and handling objections in a professional manner.
- Communication skills, such as clear verbal presentation, active listening, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Basic technical understanding of roofing, siding, or exterior home products, with the ability to learn product specifications and installation processes.
- Organizational and time-management skills for managing appointments, follow-ups, and documentation within a structured sales process.
- Comfort working in the field, including visiting customer homes, performing exterior inspections, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM or sales tracking systems.
- Prior experience in home improvement, construction, or in-home sales is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on customer availability.
