The Role:Move Beyond "Order Entry"
We don’t need another clerk; we need an active Account Manager. You will be responsible for driving revenue across our core categories: HVAC products and accessories, cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. You’ll be the voice of FP Supplies, hitting the phones to manage an existing customer base while identifying opportunities to expand their spend. Your goal is to ensure every customer understands the value of the "FP Supplies Experience" and to push for the extra sale that keeps their projects moving.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Active Account Management: Proactively call on customers to manage orders, offer technical solutions, and upsell premium product lines.
- Drive Growth: Move beyond reactive support to identify new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Product Expertise: Become a go-to resource for HVAC systems, flooring, cabinetry, and appliance specifications.
- Collaboration: Work alongside our strategy and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven sales experience is required.
- Industry Knowledge: 1–2 years in HVAC or construction materials is a significant bonus.
- The "Hunter" Mentality: You aren't afraid of the phones. You are motivated by hitting targets and increasing your commission.
- Communication: Solid verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using modern sales tools (Hubspot CRM/Microsoft 365) to track activity and manage your pipeline.
- Target Pay: $60,000 Base Salary + Commission.
