Account Executive - Paper Digital Printing (Ohio)

Salary 80 - 120k base plus commission

Summary:

Our client is a mid sized printing and packaging company based out of Ohio who is manufacturing folding cartons, rigid packaging, paper products and labels. The Account Executive will cover all of the Ohio territory. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales of paper, digital printing and marketing collateral.

This position plays a key role in supporting the sales strategy and will work collaboratively with both technical experts and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

• Expanding our customer base and deepening relationships with current clients in the commercial printing and paper sectors.
• Identifying growth opportunities through detailed client profiling and strategic outreach.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients - conducting plant tours, attending press approvals, and maintaining regular communication.
• Collaborating with internal teams (estimating, design, customer service) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Preparing accurate quotes and proposals, and managing custom pricing approvals.
• Using Salesforce CRM to track sales activities, pipeline progress, and market insights.
• Resolving billing and credit issues, and ensuring proper purchase order processing.
• Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals and contributing to forecasting efforts.
• Representing Oliver Inc. at industry events and trade shows.
• Staying current with trends and innovations in print and packaging through ongoing learning.

• Have at least 2 years of sales experience in commercial printing or adjacent sales like labels, packaging, graphics, signage
• Hold a high school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Are a strategic thinker who uses data and analytics to guide decisions.
• Have a proven history of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• Are skilled in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred).
• Communicate with confidence and clarity, and excel at negotiation.
• Possess strong math skills for pricing and commission calculations.
• Are proactive, independent, and thrive in a competitive, fast‑paced environment.
