Position Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst collaborates with sales management to monitor and continuously improve the efficiency and quality of sales business systems, processes, and data. The analyst recommends changes in sales processes, incentives, strategy, and tactics based on analysis of sales performance and owns implementation and adoption with senior management. Responsibilities also include sales training support, project coordination, documentation, and developing management dashboard reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Map, document, and continually improve processes to facilitate sales performance and predictability.
- Provide support and guidance on SFDC (and other critical tools and applications) for the sales team, covering both technical use and business process questions.
- Oversee reporting tools and manage ad‑hoc reporting requests for the sales and marketing departments to analyze and monitor performance at various levels.
- Design and develop reports to provide sales performance analysis and insights to sales management, sales reps and other departments.
- Manage development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business processes.
- Act as a liaison with other departments to ensure the integrity of information available through system and reporting structures.
- Provide cross‑functional support and assist sales management on projects as needed.
- Team‑oriented, cross‑departmental experience with strong working relationships.
- Understanding of standard business practices related to sales operations (sales cycle, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, territory management, and sales quotas).
- Experience with preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable facilitating classroom and live web‑casts.
- Ability to lead and participate actively on working teams.
- Self‑motivated, willingness to learn, and self‑teach.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience in sales process design, improvement, and implementation.
