Area Sales Manager: OLIPOP in Cleveland

OLIPOP is hiring an Area Sales Manager for the Cleveland, Ohio market. OLIPOP is a fast-growing functional beverage brand, and this is a field-based distributor and retail execution role of the kind that transfers directly across the wider drinks trade.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest, the Area Sales Manager delivers monthly volume and distribution goals in market. The role is field-heavy, with an early start between 7am and 8am and most of the day spent visiting stores.

• Deliver monthly volume and distribution goals and overall market objectives.
• Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers and retailers across Cleveland.
• Run weekly route rides with direct store delivery partners and brokers, identifying underperforming accounts and routes.
• Monitor inventory and correct use of point-of-sale material.
• Report distribution, display and sales levels to distributor management and the director.
• Implement incentive programmes that guide distributor organisations toward sales objectives.
• Manage chain retailers, including new item launches, retail programmes and secondary and cooler placement.
• Assist stores with pack-out and merchandising, which requires lifting multiple cases.

• Field sales and distributor management experience, ideally in beverage or CPG.
• Comfort in an early-stage, high-growth environment and a strong grasp of customer behaviour.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support other markets.

Compensation: $72,000 to $80,000 base salary plus bonus, as published by the employer.
