** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with hospital staff and/or local emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards requiring attention.

+ Monitor entry points, corridors, and common areas for policy compliance, including visitor management, restricted-area control, and reporting of suspicious activity.

+ Complete security-related reports and documentation for incidents, patrol observations, and service calls, and communicate updates to supervision and/or client representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Hospital vaccines are required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
