Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, alarms, disruptive behavior, and unauthorized access concerns;
Monitor access points, verify identification as required, and document security-related activity in daily logs and incident reports;
Communicate with campus partners and/or local responders via radio, phone, and written reports, and help to deter policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction
