As a Security Officer - Full Time - Evenings in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and deliveries in accordance with posted instructions, helping to support authorized entry and orderly operations.
• Support security‑related operations during routine activities and/or emergency situations by communicating clearly with site personnel, the public, and first responders when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
