Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions;
Help to monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, assist with access-related procedures, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details according to site guidelines
