Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and documenting activity as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors and staff when needed.
• Support hospital operations by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, while maintaining professional communication with staff, patients, and first responders.

• Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital assignment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
