** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and security-related procedures.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or the appropriate site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Proof of required vaccinations for hospital site access is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
