Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Clinical Facility Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare. In this part‑time role you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new positions using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, helping to support authorized access, visitor direction, and adherence to location policies and procedures.
- Support healthcare operations by assisting with de‑escalation, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and providing a professional presence during routine and/or high‑traffic conditions.
- Hospital vaccinations are required.
- Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
