** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and directional support while following site-specific protocols.

+ Support daily operations by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance-related issues, and by providing visible presence throughout the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Proof of required hospital vaccines is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
