Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Hospital Response Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through outstanding communication and customer service.

Pay Rate$16.00 per hour
Job ScheduleDay Shift 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun)
What You'll Do- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, enforce location rules, direct foot traffic, and support an orderly environment for daily operations.
- Assist with incident reporting, alarm response, and other security‑related duties as assigned, while maintaining professionalism and strong attention to detail.
- Hospital vaccinations required.
- Work in and around the hospital morgue required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to help restrain individuals in a hospital setting required.
- CPR certification preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required as per federal, state, and local laws.
- Applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
