Position SummarySecurity Officer Clinical Rover in Cleveland, OH is a Part‑Time role serving and safeguarding clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or medical‑related situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations according to location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and communicate with staff regarding security‑related concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or shift activities in required reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and location personnel regarding security‑related matters.
- Required vaccines for a hospital site are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
