Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Cleveland, OH
, Part Time. Pay rate: $16.00 / Hour.
Job Schedule:
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Support access control and visitor-related processes, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and complete required reports regarding incidents and/or observed conditions.
- Required hospital vaccinations are required for this position.
- This position is in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
