Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and follow healthcare location policies;
Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directions, observing for security-related concerns, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel
