Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication.

In this role, you will assist patients, visitors, and staff with care and professionalism while delivering service grounded in teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Position Type:

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and de-escalation, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support staff and guests during medical emergencies, evacuations, and/or other urgent events by following post orders and communicating clearly with supervisors, first responders, and location contacts.

• Hospital setting requires compliance with vaccination requirements.
• This position may require working in or around a hospital morgue.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• This position may require restraining individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
