Campus Security Officer – Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., Cleveland, OH – Wage: $16.00/hour

Do you want a role that’s more than just a job? As a Campus Security Officer
, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors by actively patrolling both inside and outside the campus—including stairwells, parking lots, restrooms, locker rooms, and performing mobile patrols to keep the campus secure and orderly.

• Observe, report, and respond to incidents to ensure the safety of people and property.
• Patrol the campus, including indoors and outdoors, and maintain a visible presence.
• Provide customer service and information to students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain order and enforce campus policies as directed.

• Professional, approachable, and responsible demeanor to maintain appropriate boundaries and handle sensitive situations effectively.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License (required for mobile patrols).
• Customer service or security experience preferred but not required.
• Able to meet with the Site Supervisor and client on‑site for a brief “meet and greet” with your resume.

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.
• Occasionally lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs.

• Professional, approachable, and observant.
• Able to handle situations calmly and confidently.
• Motivated to contribute to a safe and positive campus environment.

No prior experience? No problem! Retail, hospitality, or food service backgrounds are a great fit—we’ll provide full training for a career in security.
