Auburn Heating, Cooling, Electric & Plumbing is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our elite team of professionals. As a local, licensed, and bonded HVAC contractor with over 50 years of excellence, we are a proud member of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce. - Compensation: $30-$45/hour based on experience
As a Lead HVAC Technician, you will provide top-tier residential service and maintenance, ensuring customer comfort and system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and fix ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Clean air handling systems, calibrate controls, and replace motors, fans, belts, and filters.
- Consultative Service: Diagnose problems, explain options to customers in plain language, and provide accurate cost estimates.

Education:
Aid customers in choosing maintenance plans and explain replacement options for aging or inefficient systems. - Operational Excellence: Maintain an organized, well-inventoried truck and provide timely invoices and timecards.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in residential HVAC service.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Certification: EPA Certification (Preferred); NATE Certification (or a willingness to obtain it via our training).
- Compliance: Knowledge of local HVAC codes and a clean, safe driving record.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication and the ability to build rapport with homeowners.
- Drive: A "win-as-a-team" attitude and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Strength: Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs.
- Mobility: Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch to work in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.).
- Agility: Ability to climb and work from ladders.
- Environmental Resilience: Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
