Total Line Refrigeration is looking for a Commercial Service Technician Service, repair, and maintain commercial food service equipment in restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other institutional kitchens. Ensure safe operation, minimal downtime, and compliance with applicable standards.
** Responsibilities
* ** Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment (cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, ice machines)
* Troubleshoot electrical, gas, steam, and mechanical systems
* Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls
* Install and commission new equipment
* Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
* Communicate with kitchen managers, chefs, and facilities teams
* Complete service reports and manage parts/tools inventory
* Participate in on-call or after-hours rotation as needed
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred
* 2+ years commercial food service equipment experience
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Ability to read schematics and service manuals
* Valid driver’s license; able to lift up to 75 lbs
** Preferred
* ** EPA 608 Certification
* CFESA or manufacturer certifications
** Work Environment
*** Restaurants, hospitals, schools, and institutional facilities
* Field-based with travel to customer sites
