Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and ensuring the safety and functionality of the facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay Range: $28-30/hour

Shift: Days (07:00-15:30)

What's the Job?

• Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems in assigned facilities.
• Assist Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Control Systems Technicians with maintenance and repair efforts, as well as perform defined tasks independently.
• Conduct general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance, and minor plumbing repairs.
• Maintain lighting systems, including bulb and ballast replacement.
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and other general maintenance duties.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Class B UST Certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum of one (1) year of applicable experience in building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to lift at least 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
