Position OverviewHelp shape the future of transportation in Cleveland. As a Commissioning Technician supporting next‑generation electric Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs), you’ll play a hands‑on role in keeping the city moving safely, reliably, and efficiently. Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on LRVs using mechanical drawings, schematics, circuit location plans, shop machinery, and hand tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in LRV control circuits and onboard systems using Portable Test Units (PTUs), laptops, and other diagnostic tools.
- Determine corrective actions, make job recommendations, and clearly communicate technical updates verbally and in writing.
- Read, interpret, and maintain written or electronic documentation while compiling accurate reports.
- Follow company and industry safety standards while collaborating with and supporting team members as needed.

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Siemens vehicle plan.
Candidates should be willing to work in non‑climate‑controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
Siemens offers compensation ranging from $55,000.00 to $65,000.00.
