Field Service Technician - Job Description
We are designer/manufacturer of industrial water treatment equipment in Cleveland, OH. We are seeking a Field Service Technician. For this position, we are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated individual with technical knowledge. Responsibilities include starting up and supervising new system installations, troubleshooting and repairing existing systems in the field, and shop work as necessary.
Requirements- Ability to use hand tools and electric tools
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent attendance
- Dependable transportation
- Up to 80% travel
- Technical understanding of industrial water and wastewater treatment (desirable)
- Previous experience with PLC programming, PVC pipe fitting, and industrial wiring (desirable)
- Ability to get government contractor clearance
- Ability to read and follow blueprints (desirable)
