The team specializes in emergency response for water, sewage, storm, and mold damage, providing services such as water extraction, flooded basement cleanup, structural drying, mold remediation, and full property cleanouts. The company also supports property managers, insurance agents, realtors, investors, and banks with reliable property preservation, board-up services, and detailed photo documentation.

Licensed and insured, Aided Water Damage Restoration emphasizes clear communication, fair pricing, and leaving every property clean, dry, and ready for rebuild. The company operates 24/7 from its Middleburg Heights, OH location.
Role Description The Water Damage Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH. This role is responsible for responding to residential and commercial water-related emergencies, performing water extraction, structural drying, and cleanup of flooded basements, sewage backups, and storm-damaged areas. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and monitoring drying equipment, removing damaged materials, assisting with mold remediation, and safely handling demolition and debris removal.

The technician documents work with photos and notes, communicates clearly with property owners and partners, and follows safety protocols and company standards. The role may involve evening, weekend, and on-call shifts to support 24/7 emergency response.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess practical skills in water damage restoration, including Water Damage and Water Treatment.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to system and Equipment Maintenance to safely operate and care for pumps, dehumidifiers, and related tools.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Wastewater Treatment to handle contaminated water and sewage in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with property owners, team members, and partner professionals, and for documenting work performed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions, including confined spaces and potentially contaminated environments, while following PPE and safety procedures.
  • Prior experience in restoration, construction, or maintenance is beneficial; IICRC certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use basic technology for scheduling and documentation.
