Bemana is searching for a Pump Service Technician in the greater Cleveland, OH area. We are searching for an experienced-level field tech responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of complex pump systems. Acting as the "backbone" of the business, this technician works independently and as a crew lead to service commercial, industrial, and municipal water and wastewater systems.
Position Offers:
- Up to $37/hour, depending on experience + OT opportunities.
- 2.5% bonus potential, tied to individual and shop performance.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(K) & Roth: 100% company match on the first 3%, plus 0.5 match on the 4th and 5th%.
- Paid Time Off:
Start with 3 weeks, with the potential to accrue up to 5 weeks per year.
What You'll Do:
- Work on all kinds of pumps (centrifugal, submersible, split case) — diagnosing issues and getting them back up and running.
- Handle electrical work on single- and three-phase systems (up to 480V), including wiring motors and basic troubleshooting.
- Read schematics and blueprints to figure out problems and solutions.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and respond to service calls when needed.
- Follow safety procedures, especially Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO).
- Some experience with VFD installs (programming is minimal).
- Basic understanding of control panels, PLCs, or SCADA systems.
- Mix of field and shop work (about 60% field / 40% shop, varies week to week).
- Job sites include commercial buildings, high-rises, and hospitals.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience with pumps and electrical systems.
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school background.
- Solid problem-solving skills and hands-on mindset.
- Valid driver's license.
