Maintenance Technician

1st Shift - Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will work on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing facility and production equipment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure reliable and safe operation of industrial equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Repair and maintain production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and conveyor systems.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting, including work with 480V systems and relays.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform facilities maintenance as needed, including light plumbing work (typically once per month).
• Carry out preventative maintenance on HVAC systems; coordinate with external vendors for major facility repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLC-related issues to support reliable operation of automated equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, and related industrial equipment.
• Use hand tools and basic equipment from personal tool set to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status and repair needs to relevant stakeholders.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience working with 480V systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance in an industrial facility.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting in a production or industrial environment.
• Experience with mechanical repair and maintenance of motors, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot relays and other electrical control components.
• Industrial facilities and facility maintenance experience.
• Ownership of basic tools and a tool box suitable for maintenance work.
• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC preventative maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, including conveyors and conveyor maintenance.
• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and schematics in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and motors.
• Familiarity with ISO-certified manufacturing environments.
• Comfort working across both production equipment and general facility maintenance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
