Responsibilities
- Conduct client intake and assist in case management.
- Support community outreach and advocacy initiatives.
- Perform assessments and provide appropriate resources to clients.
- Help organize and facilitate workshops and support groups.
- Maintain detailed case logs and documentation.
- Work with legal and advocacy teams to address client needs.
- Participate in community events and represent CAIR at various forums.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Social Work or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Passion for social justice and civil rights.
- Knowledge of issues affecting the American Muslim community is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus
