We are working with a client downtown Cleveland, and they are looking for a long-term Family Development Specialist to join our team and collaborate with low-income families and individuals, supporting them through long-term development strategies using a case management model. In this role, you will partner with participants to assess their needs, develop personalized service plans, and connect them with essential community resources.
You will maintain a designated caseload, provide referrals across a range of social service issues, and offer targeted support and advocacy to those seeking assistance through their programs.
- Conduct case management assessments
- Prepare and maintain program documentation
- Submit statistical and narrative reports
- Offer direct service and follow-up support
- Participate in professional development opportunities such as support groups, meetings, trainings, conferences, and workshops to stay current with best practices and continually improve your skills
- Associate degree and at least two years of experience in office administration or a related field within a large social services organization, or equivalent education and experience
- Passionate about making a lasting impact and enjoy working in a collaborative, community-focused environment
