Ohio Rise Care Coordinator Supervisor
Clinically supervise and evaluate PEP Connections Care Coordinators, aligning practice with the agency mission, the trauma‑informed Sanctuary Model®, the Neurosequential Model, and wraparound values.
Essential Functions- Align practice and work with the agency mission, vision, and guiding principles; the trauma‑informed Sanctuary Model®, the Neurosequential Model, the Re‑ED philosophy and wraparound values.
- Maintain effective working relationships with parents, other professionals, and child‑serving systems.
- Provide effective clinical supervision and consultation.
- Provide coaching in the wraparound approach to service delivery.
- Supervise the completion of clients’ child and family‑centered care plans and periodic reviews.
- Utilize knowledge of clients and their strengths and natural supports in treatment planning.
- Supervise the data‑gathering process for program evaluation.
- Supervise the maintenance of client files and other required documentation.
- Supervise the completion of routine paperwork by care coordinators.
- Maintain effective working relationships with supervises.
- Assist with the assessment, management, and resolution of crisis situations with clients and their families, which require 24/7 on‑call responsibilities.
- Transport clients, as needed, for scheduled appointments or in crisis situations.
- Provide regular updates and status of client progress to the PEP Connections Director.
- Complete assigned duties competently and within expected time frames.
- Represent the agency on community‑based committees as appropriate.
- Utilize safe work practices for self and others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Carelogic EHR system.
- Participate in and meet requirements for all required trainings, including high‑fidelity wraparound training, skill and competency‑based training to supervise ICC/MCC, and all agency trainings.
- Participate in staff development activities, parent conferences, team meetings, and staff meetings as scheduled or assigned.
- Present oneself with decorum and appropriate dress for the agency and profession.
- Work respectfully with culturally diverse populations.
- Be well organized and utilize effective time management skills.
- Know and adhere to PEP policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, or a related human services field.
- Independent mental health licensure with a supervision designation.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in children’s behavioral health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, or related public‑sector human services providing community‑based services to children, youth, and families.
- Background and experience in family systems, community systems and resources, case management, child and family counseling or therapy, child protection, or child development.
- Be culturally competent or responsive, with training and experience necessary to manage complex cases.
- Significant experience working with children and families experiencing severe emotional disturbances, trauma, co‑occurring behavioral health disorders, and engagement in child‑serving systems.
- Communicate accurately and effectively, both written and orally.
- Demonstrate effective decision‑making skills and good judgment.
- Knowledge of community mental health services and resources.
- Work professionally, effectively, and collaboratively with others.
- Use a computer and keyboard (eye‑hand coordination and repetitive keyboard movements).
- Move around the classroom/center/community and sit and stand for more than an hour at a time.
- Visually and auditorily assess and monitor clients’ mental health status for safety purposes.
- Meet driver eligibility standards to transport clients in a personal vehicle.
