Job Summary

The Youth Services Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of youth-focused and Out-of-School Time (OST) programming and initiatives at Starting Point (the Organization). This role works collaboratively with internal teams, providers, community partners, schools, and families to ensure high-quality programming, compliance with funding expectations, strong provider engagement, and positive outcomes for children and youth.

The Coordinator is responsible for supporting program operations, quality improvement initiatives, compliance monitoring, provider technical assistance, data coordination, family engagement efforts, and program communication. This role also supports the ongoing maintenance of program information systems, reporting processes, and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen youth-serving programs across the community.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Youth Program Quality Improvement processes and quality assessment activities.
  • Coordinate and support youth services programs and initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison to community partners, providers, schools, and families.
  • Support recruitment, enrollment, and engagement of youth participants and families.
  • Monitor program participation, attendance, and required documentation.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating trainings, workshops, meetings, symposiums, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, tracking logs, and program documentation.
  • Create and maintain program-related materials, forms, and resources.
  • Serve as a liaison for data-related processes connected to OST initiatives and funded programs.
  • Coordinate with DAT and internal departments regarding attendance tracking, parental consent processes, and reporting expectations.
  • Monitor compliance submissions and documentation requirements for funded agencies.
  • Assist with data collection, tracking systems, outcome reporting, and program analysis processes.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines and documentation timelines are communicated and monitored.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and updates related to compliance, quality improvement, and provider engagement.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to OST providers regarding implementation requirements, compliance expectations, operational supports, and funding requirements.
  • Respond to provider questions related to program operations, quality standards, reporting processes, and compliance expectations.
  • Support updates and maintenance connected to the OST Finder and related program information systems.
  • Assist with family engagement and communication processes connected to OST initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Nonprofit Management, Youth Development, Data Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working within nonprofit, education, youth-serving, or community-based organizations preferred.
  • Experience coordinating youth programs, compliance monitoring, data tracking, reporting, or quality improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with quality improvement systems such as YPQI preferred.
  • Experience facilitating trainings, technical assistance, coaching, or provider support preferred.
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse populations and community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with Salesforce, attendance tracking systems, reporting platforms, or similar databases preferred.

Working conditions
