Position Overview

As an ARGO Developer within PNC’s Check Modernization and Teller organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA;
Strongsville, OH;
Dallas, TX;
Birmingham, AL; or Phoenix, AZ. You will support and enhance our Teller platform, including modernization initiatives and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop, enhance, and support ARGO Teller capabilities, including analysis and delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.
- Participate in modernization efforts, including assessment of moving from legacy/desktop implementations toward modern/web or vendor-hosted solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements, document solutions, and support implementation planning.
- Support integration needs and technical design discussions for implementation and reuse of existing components where applicable.
- Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Write code, test and deploy software.
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintain and debug software.
- Demonstrated experience developing or supporting ARGO Teller / ARGO platform solutions.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (design, development, testing, and support).
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model with cross‑functional partners (engineering, QA, architecture).
- Experience with financial data handling, auditability, and traceability.
- Familiarity with integration of downstream check processing, X9s, etc.

- Experience participating in vendor implementation/architecture working sessions and technical discovery activities.
- Experience evaluating out‑of‑the‑box vendor functionality versus customizations and documenting recommendations.
- Strong communication skills.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $55,000.00 – $ (may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
