Senior-Level It Applications Programmer
For this contractor assignment, seeking two senior-level IT applications programmer with demonstrated success within large-scale IT projects. Full stack developers will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment, with groups in both IT and business areas: designing, coding, unit testing in a variety of technologies supporting UI, backend, API, and database and cloud. You’ll provide insights and contribute to decisions impacting various platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyzing requirements for software programs
- Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications
- Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development – TDD)
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions.
Required Skills:
- SQL AE experience
- Comfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)
- C# and VB
- Schema analysis and remediation for encryption compatibility
- Application security expertise
- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
- Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
- Encryption implementation
- Hands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption
- Familiarity with key management and integration with enterprise security tools
- Data-driven inquiry
- Demonstrates ability to analyze data and formulate meaningful questions
- Brings insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-making
- Leads with curiosity to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited documentation
Collaboration & communication
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams (security, architecture, infrastructure)
- Can explain technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

Education and/or experience required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an information technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
- In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
- In lieu of the above, a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
