Senior-Level It Applications Programmer

For this contractor assignment, seeking two senior-level IT applications programmer with demonstrated success within large-scale IT projects. Full stack developers will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment, with groups in both IT and business areas: designing, coding, unit testing in a variety of technologies supporting UI, backend, API, and database and cloud. You’ll provide insights and contribute to decisions impacting various platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Analyzing requirements for software programs
• Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications
• Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development – TDD)
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions.

Required Skills:

• SQL AE experience
• Comfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)
• C# and VB
• Schema analysis and remediation for encryption compatibility
• Application security expertise
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
• Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
• Encryption implementation
• Hands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption
• Familiarity with key management and integration with enterprise security tools
• Data-driven inquiry
• Demonstrates ability to analyze data and formulate meaningful questions
• Brings insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-making
• Leads with curiosity to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited documentation

Education and/or experience required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an information technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
• In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
• In lieu of the above, a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
