Embedded Software Engineer - Yocto and Linux Experience

yWe are seeking a skilled Embedded Engineer with strong experience in Yocto Linu x to join our engineering team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience developing and customizing embedded Linux systems, building BSPs, and working with embedded hardware platforms. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded software solutions

• sBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• .4+ years of experience in embedded software development
• .Strong experience with Yocto Project and embedded Linux
• .Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• .Experience with Linux kernel, device drivers, and BSP development
• .Familiarity with Git, build systems, and debugging tools
• .Knowledge of embedded hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet

• sExperience with ARM-based processors and bootloaders (U-Boot)
• .Understanding of real‑time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus
• .Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• .Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• sDevelop, customize, and maintain Yocto-based embedded Linux distributions
• .Integrate and optimize BSPs, device drivers, and system software
• .Debug and resolve software and hardware integration issues
• .Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the product lifecycle
• .Support system validation, testing, and performance optimization
• .Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices
