Compensation:
The hourly base pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour.
MUST HAVE CDL AND PASSENGER B ENDORSEMENT.
Work ScheduleMonday through Friday: 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

SummaryThe Shuttle Driver transports guests to and from the hotel, hospital, casino, and local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner using safe driving practices. The driver assists with luggage delivery and pick‑up during arrival and departure and maintains vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
Essential Functions- Shuttle guests to approved locations; learn and remember pick‑up and destination points.
- Know property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, etc.
- Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio, and in person politely with guests, location staff, and co‑workers.
- Greet guests within 30 seconds and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Operate a vehicle that seats sixteen people or more, including driver.
- Inspect vehicle interior and exterior for operating equipment and proper condition before each shift.
- Record and report vehicle malfunctions or damage.
- Maintain guest confidentiality per HIPAA; secure client financial and identifying information.
- Provide only a hand for assistance; not lift services. Check and clean wheelchairs; assist patrons with vehicle entry/exit. Use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts if required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Pass criminal background, MVR, and drug screen; minimum 21 years old.
- Maintain valid driver’s license, DOT endorsements, and bi‑annual physical exams.
- Complete Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training; current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- At least three (3) years of commercial driving experience (or nine years of general driving).
- Ability to drive manual transmission.
- Standard English reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems; understand rates applicable to time passed.
Job is routine, following established practices and procedures. Incumbent follows departmental guidelines; decision making within provided instructions.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsWork requires sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, handling objects up to 100 pounds, and operating outdoors in varying weather conditions. Partial travel up to 5% may be required.
