Transportation Aide

Euclid Beach Nursing and Rehab is now hiring for a Full-Time Driver for two of our facilities

• Must have an active STNA license
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Able to drive a lift vehicle to transport residents to/from doctors appointments, activites, and other events
• Complete pre inspections before use of vehicle
• Monitor regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Schedule resident appointments.
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the CCRC community
• Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Safely load, transport and unload residents
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents
• Assist in the evacuation of residents
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
