The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, provides exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships.
Starting wage: $20.00 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 6am–12pm (30 hours a week)

- Responsible for distribution of tasks, including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance.
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Follows Tire Hub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders, and positions them using the bin locator system.
- Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conducts cycle counts, tackles inventory control procedures, and participates in labeling activities.
- Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Ensures vehicles remain clean and mechanically sound; conducts pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and reports issues.
- Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Maintains compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
- Participates in ongoing training through in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based learning modules.
- Completes other tasks assigned by supervisor or leadership.
- Optimizes work processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manages ambiguity and operates effectively when conditions are unclear.
- Drives results and collaborates to meet shared objectives.
- Communicates effectively to satisfy diverse audiences.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver’s license (must be 19 years or older).
- At least 3 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license (no permit).
- Must be 19 years old or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Repetitively lift, pull, push and/or move tires up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
- Operate forklift for up to 8 hours per day.
- Follow traffic rules and regulations when driving Tire Hub vehicles.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Maintain a valid REAL r’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance.
- Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
- May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and eyewear.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Operate equipment in various settings, from non‑climate‑controlled warehouses to customer locations.
- Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as duties demand with little to no advanced notice.
- Driving during night or inclement weather may be required.
