Delivery Technician

Position Summary

The Delivery Technician’s position will be responsible for the transport and delivery of lottery equipment to various site locations within Ohio and will conduct service calls at retail locations as assigned.

• Delivery and installation of company equipment to customer sites.
• Lead a team on special projects or events.
• Support field technicians during and after equipment installation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including inventory, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Communicate orally and in writing with field technicians regarding diagnostics or repairs.
• Conduct maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products and track inventory.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Train new and existing team members.
• Create presentations and reports on bench and equipment activities, issues, and performance.
• Support high‑profile issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑starter with motivation and ability.
• Strong organization, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills to determine the most cost‑effective repair or resolution.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime as needed, and to travel overnight when required.
• Ability to lift, install, and move large self‑service equipment (regularly at least 35 pounds).
• Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record; ability to drive a non‑CDL delivery truck; DOT certification.
• Regular travel to customer locations for on‑site work.

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and possess specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus while working with computer and business equipment.
