Drivers looking for consistent weekend home time and straightforward freight will find a strong fit with this regional opportunity. This CDL A Truck Driver position focuses on reliable miles, no-touch freight, and assigned equipment while keeping drivers out of New York City and other high-congestion areas.
Freight consists of dry van loads moving throughout the Midwest and Southeast. Most loads are drop and hook, helping drivers spend more time driving and less time waiting at customer locations. Routes are planned to provide steady freight and predictable schedules throughout the year.
Drivers are typically home every weekend for a full 48-hour reset. Weekly earnings average $1,300-$1,500 depending on miles and experience, with additional pay available for detention, layover, breakdowns, and safety performance.
Equipment includes Freightliner Cascadias with automatic transmissions, refrigerators, power inverters, and modern sleeper amenities designed for driver comfort.
