Grammer Logistics CDL Class A Hazmat Driver
Grammer Logistics runs a diverse fleet with many commodities that are used in everyday life! Sulfuric Acid, Ammonia, Propane / Butane, Natural Gas Condensate, Acetic Acid, Nitric Acid, and several others. These commodities are used across the US for various needs such as fuel, fertilizers, additives in pigments, detergents, and dyes, used in agricultural industries to control weeds and create herbicides, used in canning, textiles, and even purification of water supplies.
Grammer Logistics is currently seeking CDL Class A drivers to haul our diverse freight! Drivers for Grammer enjoy consistent home time (generally home weekly or more depending on location).

Home Daily - CDL Class A Hazmat Driver- Locomotive Fueling
Location:
Cleveland, OH
Annual Earnings: $100,872 +
Weekly Pay: $1890/weekly
Pay Details:
Paid weekly, Guaranteed 60 hour schedule year-round, Overtime after 40 hours
- Saturday and Sunday (days) 7 AM to 7 PM
- Monday
- Wednesday (nights) 7 PM to 7 AM - Thursday and Friday Off

- No automatic restriction allowed

- Safely fuel locomotives on an on-call basis during scheduled shifts (paid for full 12 hours regardless of dispatches)
- Complete diesel accounting paperwork and perform vehicle inspections
- Respond promptly to railroad dispatches
- Maintain cleanliness and assist with light maintenance
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
- Report spills or incidents immediately
- Maintain current training, licenses, and certifications
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements or X endorsement
- TWIC card required
- No automatic restriction
- Must pass all background checks
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Moderate computer skills
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on/off elevated surfaces
- Walk long distances on paved or uneven surfaces
- Climb in/out of truck cab and locomotive steps multiple times per shift
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently

Job Description- Safely operate a tractor trailer combination locally.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physically loading/unloading of trucks.
- Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
- Willingness to assist in the warehouse as needed.
- Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
- Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle.
THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Travel RequirementsSeventy-five (75%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities is performed outdoors and in a warehouse setting. May require overnight travel.
