A local company is seeking an individual who will handle shipping and receiving duties, as well as driving to make delivery and pick-ups. You will work Monday through Friday from9:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities- Safely operate box truck throughout Northeast Ohio
- Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups while meeting customer and production deadlines
- Load, unload, and secure materials to ensure safe transportation
- Inspect Company vehicles, complete routine vehicle inspections, maintain maintenance logs, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate delivery records
- Manage delivery management systems
- TrackPOD
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, postal employees, and co-workers
- Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department with loading, unload, and other department activities as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all company safety and security procedures
