Forklift Operator - Cleveland, OH

Shift: 10 AM - 6:30 PMREACH TRUCK EXPERIENCE NEEDEDThe Forklift Operator is responsible for accurate and effective receiving, storing, cycle counts, shipping products, supplies, tools, pulling orders, forklift safety, and forklift preventive maintenance, loading trucks, unloading trucks, LTL shipments, cleanliness of warehouse and office facilities, and other assigned duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pull out of town orders (LTL) and place the orders in the proper location for the carriers to pickup. Put address labels on each skid for proper deliver instructions.

Prepare UPS orders for shipment with weights and place in the proper location for pickup.

Ensure all orders for will call, salesman, or courier shipments are pulled immediately and effectively. Note date and time that each person was notified on the product.

Ensure all same day deliveries are documented.

Ensure all errors are documented.

Complete special projects assigned.

Notify supervisor of any irregularities regarding warehouse operations.

Analyze, and recommend methods of improving the warehouse operations.

Ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and organized.

Ensure location codes are correct.

Ensure products and building security.

Keep non-stock area clean and orderly.

Ensure LTL and truckload freight are unloaded in a timely and efficient fashion.

Ensure that purchase orders match the products we are unloading. To include counts, size, and deliver to address is correct.

Maintain stock location and update any changes.

Maintain stock rotation by date codes where needed.

Pull all stock down to the floor for easier pulling.

Maintain forklift PM sheets.

Maintain forklift safety.

Maintain office cleaning supplies.

Pulling warehouse and indirect order.

Other assigned duties

Follow both letter and spirit within the Supply One policies, procedures, and process.

-Must have sit-down forklift experience-Reach Truck Forklift experience is a plus

The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
