Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Saturday as needed
Eveready Products is seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to manage and streamline the flow of goods and operations within their warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring inventory accuracy, smooth workflow, and effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate will be a reliable point person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the daily operations and overall flow within the warehouses and outside storage.
- Monitor and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Responsible for maintaining line stock.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and warehouse activities.
- Supervisor warehouse staff to prioritize tasks and maintain efficiency.
- Implement and improve organizational systems to streamline workflow.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Serve as the key liaison between warehouse teams, logistics, and management.
- Assist in training new staff and supporting cross-departmental communication.
- Operate warehouse equipment when needed. (e.g., Forklift, pallet jack).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus, to assist in clear team communication.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or logistics support and employee oversight.
- Know how to properly operate warehouse equipment when needed. (e.g., Forklift, pallet jack).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions.
- Physically able to lift, move, and organize materials as needed.
- Basic computer efficiency.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in a supervisor role.
- Familiarity with clean warehouse practices and process improvement.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 25lbs.
- 40-hour full-time workweek, year-round, with Overtime availability.
