Our client designs and manufactures life critical protective equipment used by military personnel and first responders around the world. They are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations.

This is one of the more skilled positions within the warehouse operation. We're looking for someone with strong inventory control experience, ERP system knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a history of long-term employment.

• Perform scheduled daily cycle counts of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Process inventory adjustments using established procedures.
• Verify product identification, storage locations, and lot traceability.
• Communicate inventory shortages and discrepancies to appropriate departments.
• Generate inventory reports and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Experience working with an ERP system such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or a similar enterprise system.
• Previous Inventory Control and Cycle Counting experience is required.
• Two or more years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general ERP system navigation.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated employment stability with a history of long-term tenure. Candidates should generally have at least 18 months with recent employers. Individuals with a proven record of long term employment are strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
