Overview

Keefe Commissary Network is a division of TKC Holdings, Inc. that is the industry leader in the commissary market. We run an essential business serving our communities and our customers.

Wage Rate: $18.00/hour

About This Position

We are looking for operations team members to join our team within a correctional environment. The position is essential business in a non-retail and non-public environment. All employees receive PPE. Employees also have access to Daily Pay for immediate access to earned wages. We are a military and veteran friendly employer.

Schedule and Hours

Monday-Friday.

Hours:

Monday 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Tuesday 7:00 am - 2:30 pm, Wednesday-Friday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a jail/correctional facility and interact with inmates in a professional, upbeat manner.
  • Unload, receive and putaway product into onsite warehouse.
  • Select product for individual orders and assist in delivery.
  • Assist with customer orders as part of the Commissary (KCN) team.
  • Build, stage and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) in support of the Bulk team.
  • Load third-party and internal delivery trucks.
  • Manage inventory, including counting product and correcting inventory in a dynamic environment.
  • Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders using mobile scan guns, modern MHE, computers, tablets and more.
  • Maintain inventory, stocking and planogram of vending machines at client facilities.
  • Keep workspace clean and tidy.
  • Other duties as determined by business needs.
Compensation
  • Regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels.
  • Overtime opportunities, paid at the corresponding overtime rate.
  • Weekly pay, every Thursday.
  • Holiday pay for company-recognized holidays.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • A self-starter capable of working well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with computers, including Microsoft Office programs (preferred).
