We’re looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations that support our manufacturing activities. In this role, you’ll oversee receiving, material handling, inventory accuracy, and finished‑goods storage, in addition to supervising our Shipping Coordinators.
You’ll help ensure materials get to production on time, customer shipments go out accurately, and all warehouse processes meet our safety and quality standards. This is a key position that keeps our operations running smoothly and reliably.
Responsibilities- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put‑away, picking, staging, shipping, and finished‑goods storage.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, root‑cause analysis, and timely reconciliation.
- Maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment using 5S, FIFO, labeling, and location accuracy standards.
- Supervise shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation, compliant packaging, and on‑time carrier pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate logistics and communicate with carriers to resolve shipment, delivery, or freight issues.
- Train, schedule, and coach warehouse staff; provide ongoing feedback and support employee development.
- Enforce safety procedures, OSHA compliance, equipment checks, and preventive maintenance for material‑handling equipment.
- Monitor material flow and key performance indicators, drive continuous improvement, and partner cross‑functionally to resolve inventory or shipment issues.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years' experience leading or supervising warehouse staff.
- Proficiency with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and related documentation.
- Forklift experience (certification or ability to obtain).
- Strong understanding of safety practices, inventory control, and material handling.
- Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools (5S, Lean, root‑cause analysis).
- Strong Excel or reporting skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience supporting production environments with material flow, kitting, or line‑side replenishment.
- Familiarity with domestic/international shipping requirements and export classifications.
