Warehouse Logistics Manager - Ryder Final Mile

Job Overview

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Logistics Manager with our Ryder Last Mile team in Cleveland, OH for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

• Salary: $68,000 – $70,000 per year (exempt, paid twice per month)
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday–Saturday 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (same Saturdays)
• Flexible schedule across various shifts required

• Manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts, including P&L responsibility, customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety.
• Oversee performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations, operating the account to meet demands.
• Handle payroll, accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to assess account profitability and provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
• Hold safety & security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Advanced knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations
• Advanced knowledge of safety and security requirements
• DOT regulated experience:
  No

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
• Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field
• Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports
• Excellent knowledge of transportation and warehouse logistics operations (advanced)
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced)
