Warehouse Specialist
This position is onsite working Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm. As a Warehouse Specialist, you'll play a critical role in making sure the right part arrives at the right place. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly support our field engineers and help keep our customers' businesses up and running. What you'll be doing:
- Load and unload trucks.
- Handle all warehouse tasks including but not limited to the use of business systems to perform all shipping and receiving transactions both domestically and international as well as putting product away to proper location within the warehouse.
- Read purchase requisitions, return authorization orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to be located, picked, packed and/or shipped.
- Perform data entry of all inventory transactions, including receipt, shipments, stock adjustments and transfers.
- Document reasons for adjustments and works with warehouse supervisor for approvals for adjustments.
- Responsible for maintaining and validating inventory accuracy.
- Work with Purchasing and Field Engineers as necessary to resolve issues
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Perform data entry for all inbound product from Test including stock adjustments and transfers in business systems
- Performs weekly cycle counts, periodic and yearly physical inventories.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience helping manage inventory as well as performing cycle counts, and/or coordinating shipments preferred
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for most of the workday including walking, bending, squatting, and reaching
- Education:
